Anna Schurich

Anna Schurich is Senior Lecturer in Experimental Immunology at King's College London. Her laboratory investigates T-cell responses in chronic infections and cancer, with emphasis on metabolic regulation of immune function.

Current projects engineer CAR-T cells with tissue-resident memory features for liver cancer therapy and optimize co-stimulation signaling to enhance T-cell metabolism. Schurich's research also examines extracellular vesicles in post-COVID immune regulation.

She received CRUK and MRC funding for developing next-generation CAR-T therapies and leads studies on immune-metabolic interactions in viral persistence.
