Anna Schliehe

Anna Schliehe is a part-time Researcher in Cultural and Political Geography at the University of Trier, Germany, since January 2024. She also holds a part-time Research Scientist position at the University of Bonn and previously worked at Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg. Her work focuses on carceral geography, combining insights from human geography and criminology.

Her recent publications examine comparative prison studies, gender dynamics in incarceration, and the impacts of the pandemic on carceral systems. Collaborations with scholars like David Moran, Ben Crewe, and Jamie Laursen highlight her interdisciplinary focus.
