Anna Rose

Dr Anna Rose is a Lecturer at the School of Health Sciences, University of Newcastle. With a background as an Occupational Therapist, her work bridges clinical practice, teaching, and research, focusing on comfort measurement, telehealth, and pressure injury prevention in allied health contexts.

Her research explores the psychosocial and physical dimensions of comfort, particularly in:

• Pressure injury prevention/management
• End-of-life care
• Telehealth implementation post-COVID
• Assistive technology integration
• NDIS service delivery

Recent publications analyze eHealth interventions, culinary nutrition programs, and clinical assessment frameworks for comfort outcomes. Current projects include systematic reviews of OT interventions for client comfort and NDIS multidisciplinary perspectives.
