Anna Price is an Associate Professor in Primary Care and Children and Young People's Mental Health at the University of Exeter Medical School. She is affiliated with the APEx (Collaboration for Primary Care at Exeter), ChYMe (Children & Young People’s Mental Health Research Collaboration), and SAND (Science of ADHD & Neurodevelopment collaboration). Her research focuses on mental health, digital health, neurodevelopmental differences (e.g., ADHD, Autism), and service provision for children and young people.

Research Interests: Anna specializes in applied health and social care research, with a focus on co-developing Digital Health Interventions (DHIs) for neurodevelopmental conditions, mapping health service provision, evidence syntheses, and clinical trial management. She advocates for inclusive methodologies and co-creation of research to improve accessibility of health and social services for underserved populations.
Scientific Awards and Leadership: Anna has received multiple NIHR awards, including a Development and Skills Enhancement Award (co-developing an ADHD app) and an upcoming Advanced Fellowship (2025). She co-led the IAM-ADHD NIHR Team Science Award and participated in the Future Focussed Leadership Programme (2023).
Research Projects and Grants: Anna has been a principal investigator for the MAP study and DigitalHealth-ADHD, and a co-investigator on projects like SPaCE (Support for Parent Carers in England) and the NIHR Bath Mental Health Research Group Award. Her work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to multimorbidity in young people with ADHD and strengthening international digital health networks.
Labs and Networks: Anna collaborates with APEx, ChYMe, SAND, and Exeter Brain, and is embedded in networks like Health Analytics @Exeter and Children & Young People Wellbeing. She contributes to institutional reviews, consultancy, and sustainable development goals (Reduced Inequalities, Good Health and Wellbeing).
