Anna Parker

Anna Parker is Assistant Teaching Professor in Biology at Wake Forest University, holding a PhD in Biology from UNC-Chapel Hill, MS in Zoology/Physiology from University of Wyoming, and BS/BA in Biology/Chemistry from University of Rochester. Her interdisciplinary research integrates evolutionary ecology, global change biology, and STEM education.

Research explores plant-insect interactions under climate change, ecological responses to extreme weather events, and evolutionary adaptations in thermal sensitivity. Recent publications investigate tritrophic systems, nutrient-temperature interactions in butterflies, and life history modeling of insects. Parker also focuses on equity and inclusion initiatives in STEM education.
