Anna Nadibaidze is a postdoctoral researcher in international politics at the Center for War Studies, University of Southern Denmark. Her research focuses on military applications of artificial intelligence and their implications for international relations and global security. She currently holds a Visiting Fellowship at the Danish Institute for Advanced Study (2024-2025) and serves as Editor of Foreign Policy Rising (2020–present) and former Co-chair of the PhD Association at SDU (PAUSD, 2021–2022).
Education includes a PhD in Political Science from the University of Southern Denmark, an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA in Political Science and History from McGill University. Her professional experience spans media analysis, think tanks, and international organizations, including roles at the International Telecommunication Union, International Anti-Corruption Academy, Open Europe think tank, and contributions to the BMB Russia newsletter and ABC News broadcast.
Her research is supported by grants such as the Distributed Agency of Humans and Machines in Military Applications of AI (HuMach) (Independent Research Fund Denmark) and Weaponised Artificial Intelligence, Norms, and Order (AutoNorms) (European Research Council). She remains actively engaged in media collaborations and academic leadership roles.
