Anna Muza

Anna Muza is a Senior Lecturer Emerita at the University of California, Berkeley. Her academic career focuses on Russian language pedagogy for heritage speakers, translation studies, and the intersection of Russian theatre with global cultural history. She holds a Ph.D. from the Russian Academy of Performing Arts in the theory and history of dramatic art.

Her research spans Chekhov's international reception, Soviet theatrical practices, and early 20th-century Russian literary historiography.
