Dr. Anna Morgan-Mullan, LCSW, DSW, is an Adjunct Professor in the MA in Clinical Psychology program at Antioch University Santa Barbara. Her work focuses on trauma-responsive, anti-oppressive clinical practices and systemic reform in mental health care.
- Education: Master of Social Welfare (Fordham University), Doctorate in Social Welfare (New York University Silberman School of Social Work)
Her research and practice integrate trauma studies, social justice, and abolitionist frameworks, addressing systemic oppression in therapeutic systems and hyperincarceration's impact on families. She has developed clinical policies and treatment models for community-based mental health settings.
Recent publications highlight trauma-informed care, racial trauma, and systemic interventions. She has presented nationally on dismantling anti-Blackness in mental health care and somatic abolition practices.
