Anna Martín Bylund is an Associate Professor and Docent at Linköping University's Department of Behavioural Sciences and Learning (IBL), within the Division of Learning, Aesthetics, and Natural Science (LEN). Her work focuses on the intersection of education, technology, and sensory experience, particularly in primary education and post-pandemic digital teaching. She leads projects like the BookBot Project, exploring social robots to enhance children's reading motivation, and investigates how physical activity and bodily engagement influence learning.
Her research includes studies on family mealtime dynamics and the role of digital media in education. She collaborates across disciplines, integrating insights from technology, cognition, and pedagogy. Key projects include At the Heart of Reading (bodily dimensions of reading practices), Covid-19: Closer to the senses (digital teaching during the pandemic), and The joy in reading (social robots in schools).
Anna's research has been featured in news articles, including studies on fostering children's reading interest via robots and creating proximity in online interactions. She is based at Campus Norrköping, Täppan, Room 6008.
