معرفی
Anna Malinowska is an Assistant Professor (2013-2022) at the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition, Poznan University of Life Sciences. She held a post-doctoral position at Wageningen University & Research (2020-2022), funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. Her research focuses on gastrointestinal microbiota, dietary patterns, folate metabolism, and their impacts on human health. She led a National Science Center-funded project (2016-2020) investigating gut microbiota as a link between diet and metabolism. Her work combines nutritional science with microbiological analysis, addressing metabolic and cardiovascular health outcomes.
Education includes a PhD (2013) and MSc (2008) from Poznan University of Life Sciences, focusing on genetic/nutritional determinants of folate metabolism and prenatal protein deficiency effects on gene methylation.
Research interests span microbiome analysis, dietary pattern assessment tools (e.g., Easy Diet Screener), and biomarker studies for choline, carnitine, and trimethylamine pathways. Her articles highlight connections between microbiota composition, dietary habits, and metabolic health metrics like lipid profiles and glucose regulation.
