Anna Lührs is a Science Coordinator and Project Manager at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC), Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH, with expertise in High-Performance Computing (HPC), science management, and communication. She has held part-time positions since completing her dual studies in Scientific Programming at FH Aachen in 2011, followed by an honors Master's in Technomathematics in 2013.
- Deputy lead of the Office for (Inter)national Coordination and Networking at JSC
- Co-founder of "Jülich Women in High Performance Computing" (JuWinHPC)
- Key involvement in the EU-funded Human Brain Project with 100+ partners
Her research interests bridge HPC and neuroscience, including algorithm development for brain imaging data and interdisciplinary collaboration. She previously led the (former) HPC in Neuroscience division as a research associate.
Anna contributes to science communication, project coordination, and fostering inclusivity in HPC through her leadership in JuWinHPC. She holds an ORCID (0000-0003-1024-4829) and engages via Twitter (@AnnaLuhrs) and LinkedIn.
