Anna Levén is an Associate Professor at Linköping University, affiliated with the Department of Behavioural Sciences and Learning and the Disability Research Division (FUSA). Her research focuses on memory, cognitive training, and executive functions in individuals with intellectual disabilities. She leads projects like the Öglan initiative, exploring AI-driven math education for youth with disabilities, and the Mastermind project, investigating executive function training. Her work emphasizes practical applications of cognitive science in clinical and educational settings.
Teaching responsibilities include courses on disability research, intellectual disability, and cognitive sciences for psychologists and educators. She actively supervises course essays and facilitates academic seminars. Her research spans prospective memory challenges, semantic network analysis in adolescents, and number processing in children with disabilities, with findings published in journals like Scandinavian Journal of Educational Research and Developmental Neuropsychology.
