She leads the Hodegetics research unit since 2022, driving innovation in special education teacher development.

- Teaching Degree for Special Needs Schools (2016)
- State-certified Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist (Behavioral Therapy, 2023)
- Experiential Educator certification (2015-2018)
Weber's research bridges clinical psychotherapy and educational practice, focusing on mental health prevention for students with learning disabilities. Her work examines how pedagogical tact and reflective ability in teachers can create 'resonance spaces' for vulnerable learners, utilizing experiential education techniques to foster emotional regulation. This integrative approach addresses critical gaps in supporting neurodiverse students through trauma-informed teaching methodologies.
Her recognition includes:
- 2020 BLLV Education Prize for Innovative Teaching (Hodegetik project)
- 2023 JMU Fund for Innovative Teaching ('Pedagogy and Law' project)
Weber directs significant academic initiatives including the 'KonTakt' mentoring system and coordinates the Bachelor of Arts in Extracurricular Special Education program. Her Hodegetics research unit operates four synergistic projects that collectively transform teacher training through student-designed curricula, outdoor experiential learning, and emotional intelligence frameworks, while her clinical psychotherapy practice directly informs evidence-based educational interventions.
