Anna-Lena Menn

Anna-Lena Menn serves as Professor of Engineering Mathematics, especially Optimization of Technical Systems, and Head of the research field "Modeling and Simulation" at the Institute of Technology, Resource Conservation and Energy Efficiency (TREE) within the Department of Engineering and Communication at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. She additionally holds the position of Transfer Professor.

Her research centers on Model Based Systems Engineering with specialized focus on Sustainable mobility and Efficiency optimization of electric drivetrains, particularly range prediction algorithms. Teaching responsibilities include Engineering Mathematics 1 and 2, Modeling and Simulation, Electric Drives in the Energy Transition, and Product Development in Electromobility across Sustainable Engineering programs.

She leads the H-BRS-funded project ModSUS - Modeling and Sustainability, integrating electromobility systems with sustainability frameworks through computational modeling approaches.
