Anna-Lena Ljusberg is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Child and Youth Studies, Stockholm University. Her work focuses on systematic quality development in school-age educare, teacher education programs, and children's agency in educational settings.

Research interests include: systematized quality work in after-school programs, children's perspectives in extended education, pedagogical approaches to ADHD, gender dynamics in childcare, and curriculum development for school-age educare. She applies socio-cultural frameworks and ethnographic methods to analyze classroom organization, remedial education, and teacher-child interactions.
