Anna Lang is a Lecturer and staff member of the Digital workshop at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg (AdBK Nuremberg). She holds a background in goldsmithing, Cultural Studies, and Art History, with studies at the Technical School for Glass and Jewelry Neugablonz (1997–1999), Humboldt University Berlin (2000–2002), and the AdBK Nuremberg class for gold and silversmiths under Prof. Ulla Mayer (2002–2008). Her work bridges traditional craftsmanship with digital art, emphasizing contemporary cultural practices.
Her research interests include digital art innovation, the intersection of cultural studies with material practices, and the evolution of jewelry design in modern contexts. She has been recognized with the “another prize” at the NN Art Prize 2009.
Lang’s role in the Digital workshop involves teaching and supporting students in experimental digital techniques, fostering interdisciplinary approaches to art education. She contributes to the academy’s vibrant creative community through workshops and exhibitions, such as the Annual Exhibition 2025.
