Anna Kronlund is a University Lecturer in Political Science and Adjunct Professor at the University of Jyväskylä, Department of History and Ethnology. She leads a Kone Foundation-funded project on UN legitimacy and transnational challenges, and serves as managing editor of the Pro et Contra book series. Her expertise spans US politics, international organizations, and emergency powers. Previously, she held roles at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs and the John Morton Center for North American Studies, University of Turku. She earned her PhD in Political Science from the University of Jyväskylä in 2013, with a dissertation on US Congress oversight of emergency powers.
