Anna Joy Springer is an Associate Professor of Literature at the University of California, San Diego. She holds a B.A. in Humanities from New College of California and an M.F.A. in Literary Arts (Fiction) from Brown University. Her work spans creative writing, performance art, and feminist scholarship, blending speculative fiction with themes of interbeing and cultural critique. She co-founded UCSD's cross-genre MFA program in Literary Arts and has received multiple awards for teaching and artistic excellence.

Research Interests: Springer explores intersections of feminist theory, speculative fiction, and embodied mindfulness through writing and performance.
