Anna Hurst

Anna Hurst is Associate Professor of Medical Genetics at UAB and Adjunct Faculty at HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology. She directs the UAB Medical Genetics Residency Programs and serves as medical director of the Genetic Counseling Training Program. Clinically, she leads the Undiagnosed Disease Program and Turner Syndrome Clinic.

Research integrates genomic sequencing for children with complex healthcare needs, phenotypic data interpretation, and dysmorphology innovation. Collaborates with FDNA on facial recognition technology for syndrome identification.
