Dr Anna Gawlewicz is a Senior Lecturer in Urban Studies & Social Policy at the School of Social and Political Sciences, University of Glasgow. Her work focuses on international migration, social diversity, wellbeing, and qualitative methodologies. She holds a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Sheffield and a BSc/MSc in International Relations and European Studies from Cracow University of Economics, Poland. She co-leads the PostCEE network exploring postcolonial perspectives in Central and Eastern Europe.

Research Interests:
Her research spans migration dynamics in contexts of Brexit and pandemic, migrant-host encounters, queer migration, and post/decolonial methodologies. Key themes include Polish migration to the UK, urban citizenship, and wellbeing. Methodologically, she explores translation in research and reflexive methodologies.
