Anna Fahlgren is a Professor at the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences at Linköping University, specializing in experimental orthopedics and bone biology. Her research focuses on understanding bone healing mechanisms, osteoclast-osteoblast interactions, and the application of nanotechnology in orthopedic implants. She collaborates closely with materials scientist Emma Björk from the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology to develop nanoporous implant coatings for controlled drug delivery.
