Anna Elomäki is an Academy Research Fellow at the Unit of Social Research, University of Tampere. Her research focuses on gender equality policies, European Union governance, and the intersection of gender with economic and political systems. She actively contributes to feminist political economy and critical studies of EU institutions. Elomäki has been recognized with the 2023 Publisher of the year award from the University of Tampere Foundation. Her work critically examines austerity measures, gender mainstreaming in economic policies, and the role of care in post-pandemic recovery frameworks.
