Anna Dorman is a Lecturer at Harvard Law School teaching Legal Tools for Protecting Democracy and the Rule of Law in America (Fall 2025) and serves as Counsel at Protect Democracy, focusing on combating autocratic consolidation through litigation and creative advocacy.
She holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School where she engaged in voter protection and anti-gerrymandering efforts. Prior to law school, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching English and literature in Rwanda's Western Province.
Her research centers on Civil Litigation, Civil Rights, Election Law, and Democracy preservation. With experience as the Alan Morrison Supreme Court Assistance Project Fellow at Public Citizen, she assisted public interest litigants at the Supreme Court petition stage and coordinated moot courts for dozens of cases, demonstrating expertise in constitutional challenges to democratic erosion.
