Prof. dr hab. Anna Dąbrowska is a full professor at the University of Wrocław's Institute of Polish Philology (Instytut Filologii Polskiej), serving as Deputy Director for General and Financial Affairs, Head of the Department of Applied Linguistics, and Director of the School of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners. Her academic roles include membership in the State Commission for Certification of Polish as a Foreign Language and the Polish Language Council at the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Her research focuses on cultural linguistics, Polish language teaching methodologies (glottodidactics), and the history of teaching Polish as a foreign language.
