Anna Corral Fulla

Anna Corral Fulla is a Researcher at the Department of French and Romance Studies within the Autonomous University of Barcelona, affiliated with the Centre de Recerca en Arts Escèniques and GRAEMUSC research group. She holds a Ph.D. (2009) and undergraduate degree (1998) from the same institution.

Her research explores theatre studies with emphasis on opera, political dramaturgy, French-Spanish cultural exchange, and romance linguistics. She investigates topics including theatrical adaptations, reception studies, and sociopolitical dimensions of performance across Catalan, Valencian, and Balearic contexts.

Recent publications (2019-2025) demonstrate consistent focus on French theatrical influences in Spain, analyzing works by Molière, Lagarce, and Artaud through lenses of cultural translation, historical evolution, and sociopolitical commentary in performance arts.
