Anna Chronaki is Professor at Malmö University's Faculty of Learning and Society, Department of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Society. She holds a PhD in Mathematics Education from the University of Bath (UK) and researches critical approaches to mathematics education through sociopolitical, cultural, and embodied perspectives.
Her work examines how discourses of body, identity, and power shape mathematical subjectivity, employing arts-based methodologies and technology. Recent projects include collaborations with Roma communities and climate change education research. She is affiliated with the university's Center for Co-created Futures, addressing societal challenges through collective imagination.
