Anna Brown is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Management at the University of St Andrews, where she conducts research and teaches in the areas of process and practice theory, craft work, identity, and belonging. She is affiliated with the Centre for Contemporary Art and the Centre for Higher Education Research, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach bridging management, art, and education. She is actively supervising postgraduate research students and welcomes PhD projects aligned with practice-based and process-oriented methodologies.

They span topics such as humor in the UK Fire and Rescue Service, care ethics in academia, poetic methods in research, and identity in consumer technology.
