Anna Booty

Anna Booty serves as a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy at Wrexham University, concurrently holding the position of Practice Education Facilitator for the BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy programme since August 2021. Boasting over two decades of clinical experience, she has practiced in varied settings including a two-year period in New Zealand after graduation and the past fifteen years dedicated to pediatric occupational therapy within the NHS and as an independent practitioner.

Her educational pursuits include current part-time enrollment in an MSc in Health Sciences at Wrexham University. Anna's professional expertise centers on Occupational Therapy, with specialized interests in Pediatric Therapy, Family-centered Practice, and Health Sciences Education. Her clinical background significantly enriches her academic contributions, particularly in preparing future occupational therapists for real-world challenges.
