Anna Bershteyn

Anna Bershteyn is an Assistant Professor of Population Health at NYU Langone Health. Previously, she served as a Senior Research Manager at the Institute for Disease Modeling, developing mathematical models for global disease control and eradication. Her research focuses on biomedical engineering applications in immunology, particularly for HIV vaccinations.

• BSc and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT
• Developed a fully biodegradable system with versatile surface chemistry

Her work bridges materials science, computational modeling, and public health to advance vaccine delivery systems.
