Anna Bedwell

Anna Bedwell serves as Clinical Associate Professor and Director of Residencies at Indiana University School of Optometry, concurrently holding the position of Service Chief at the Indianapolis Eye Care Center. Based at the Glick Eye Institute in Indianapolis, she oversees clinical operations and residency training within the optometry program.

Her educational background includes a Doctor of Optometry (2010) and Bachelor of Science (2008), both earned at Indiana University, followed by a primary care residency at the San Francisco VA Medical Center in 2011.

Dr. Bedwell specializes in ocular disease management with concentrated expertise in posterior segment and macular conditions. Her clinical focus centers on retinal pathologies, differential diagnosis of complex eye diseases, and advanced imaging interpretation. She actively contributes to optometric education through specialized lectures and direct clinical supervision.

Her scholarly work demonstrates consistent emphasis on retinal disease differentiation and imaging analysis, particularly in macular disorders and optic nerve pathologies.
