پژوهشگر ارشد · Mechanical forces in cell fate decisions
King’s College Londonمعرفی
Anna Bajur is a Research Fellow and postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Dr Katelyn Spillane at King's College London. She is affiliated with the Department of Physics (Biological and Soft Matter group) and the Randal Centre for Cell and Molecular Biophysics. Her work bridges physics and cell biology.
Education: PhD in Dresden at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics under Professor Elisabeth Knust, studying cell polarity, adhesion, and actomyosin dynamics in fruit fly embryonic epithelia.
Research focuses on mechanical forces in cell fate decisions, quantitative imaging, and mechanotransduction. She investigates how chemical and mechanical signals interact in immune and epithelial cells, with applications in biophysics and developmental biology.
Currently based at the Strand Building, Strand Campus, London. Supervised by Dr Katelyn Spillane in her postdoctoral role.
