Dr. AnnMarie DiSiena serves as Associate Professor of Communication in the Communication Studies Department at Dominican University, where she has held faculty positions for over 33 years (24 full-time). She concurrently directs the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Communication (MSOLC) program, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Management & Healthcare concentrations, Special Sessions (Winter/Summer), and Alternative Undergraduate Sessions.
Her educational background includes:
- B.A. from Iona College
- M.A. from Fordham University
- Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University
Dr. DiSiena's research centers on organizational leadership frameworks and communication dynamics, with applied focus in business management and healthcare sectors. She annually facilitates the Public Speaking Academy for high school juniors/seniors and leads the Teen Leadership program (sophomores) through Leadership Rockland, translating theoretical concepts into community-based skill development.
She actively mentors students through conference presentations at the New York State Communication Association and conducts professional workshops on leadership communication practices for external organizations.
