Ann Rogerson is a Professor in the School of Business at the University of Wollongong, holding dual roles as Academic Lead for the Assessment Reimagined Project and Chair of the UOW Academic Integrity Advisory Group. Her work focuses on academic integrity, assessment design, and mitigating contract cheating through innovative pedagogy and technology integration.
She previously served as Associate Dean of Education (2019–2024) and leveraged this experience to pioneer initiatives addressing generative AI’s impact on academic integrity. Her research bridges organizational behavior and educational integrity, emphasizing real-world application through industry insights.
Key achievements include winning the Turnitin Innovators Award (2016) and delivering globally attended webinars on Turnitin's pedagogical use. She actively contributes to academic integrity discourse via international forums like the Asia Pacific Forum for Educational Integrity and HERDSA.
Current projects include the "Responsible Intelligence for Organisations, Society and Education" initiative (2024), addressing ethical AI use in education. Her teaching philosophy integrates lifelong learning with integrity, using Turnitin as a tool to foster writing excellence and critical thinking.
