Dr. Ann-Ngoc Nguyen is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at Middlesex University, part of the Faculty of Business and Law within the Accounting, Finance & Economics department. She holds a Doctorate in Finance from Brunel University and a Master's from Johns Hopkins University. Her research focuses on corporate finance, risk management, and financial markets, with specialties in executive pay disparity, insider trading, and stock market crash risk. She has supervised numerous PhD students who have secured academic positions globally.
Teaching includes modules like International Risk Management and Oil and Gas Finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She also leads modules in overseas campuses such as Advanced Corporate Financial Analysis. Dr. Nguyen serves as a reviewer for high-impact journals including the Journal of Risk and Financial Management and the International Journal of Finance & Economics. She contributed to textbook reviews for Corporate Finance by Berk & DeMarzo.
