Dr. Ann Marie Peters is an Associate Professor of English at Stern College for Women, Yeshiva University. Her academic and teaching career focuses on mid-20th century American literature, creative nonfiction, and autobiographical writing.

Her research explores the intersections of Twentieth-Century American Fiction, Creative Nonfiction, and Literary Nonfiction, with a particular emphasis on fiction of place and the cultural narratives of midwestern artist communities in the 1930s. She has published extensively in journals like The Southwest Review and Women's Studies Quarterly, culminating in her 2014 book House Hold: A Memoir of Place.
