Ann M. Ravel is the Director of the Digital Deception Project at MapLight and serves as an Adjunct Professor and Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. She previously held leadership roles at the Federal Election Commission (FEC) as Chair (2015) and Vice Chair (2014) until her departure in 2017, and chaired the California Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) where she pioneered the States' Unified Network (SUN) Center for campaign finance transparency.
