Ann M. Kring is a Professor of the Graduate School at the University of California, Berkeley, holding a position in the Department of Psychology. She previously served as Chair of the Department from 2015 to 2020. Her academic journey includes a Ph.D. from SUNY Stony Brook (1991) and faculty roles at Vanderbilt University before joining UC Berkeley in 1999.
Her research focuses on emotional processes in clinical populations, particularly schizophrenia, exploring links between emotion, cognition, and social deficits.
