Ann Farnsworth-Alvear is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Pennsylvania's College of Arts & Sciences. She serves as Chair of Graduate Studies and Undergraduate Advisor for Latin American & Latinx Studies, while maintaining affiliations with the Graduate Group in Anthropology and interdisciplinary programs in Africana Studies, Gender/Sexuality/Women's Studies, and Latin American/Latinx Studies.
