Ann-Cathrin Faldet is an Associate Professor of Special Education at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, affiliated with the Faculty of Teacher Education and Pedagogy and the Department of Pedagogy at the Teacher Education Department. She holds a PhD from the University of Oslo (2013), specializing in 'girls, gangs, and violence.' Her work emphasizes marginalized children's voices, inclusive practices, and the integration of virtual reality (VR) in teacher education. Faldet leads the SPLP research group and collaborates on Nordic initiatives addressing school violence and teacher well-being.

Teaching & Supervision: Teaches special education and adapted education at master's/PhD levels. Supervises master's and PhD students. Previously managed a crime prevention initiative in Oslo and taught across educational levels.
Labs/Groups: Heads the Studies in Profession, Learning, and Policy (SPLP) group and contributes to the Profession, Education, Learning, and Society (PULS) collective.
