Ankur Singh is the Chair of Lifespan Oral Health at the University of Sydney and an Australian Research Council (ARC) DECRA Fellow. He is a public health researcher and social epidemiologist focused on reducing health inequalities through evidence-based interventions. His roles include Vice President of the Global Oral Health Inequalities Research Network (IADR), Honorary Principal Fellow at the University of Melbourne’s Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and Adjunct Fellow at the Public Health Foundation of India. He holds editorial positions, including Associate Editor of Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology.

Research Interests: Population oral health, tobacco control, multimorbidity, and social determinants (housing, employment, disability) affecting health outcomes. His work emphasizes health equity across the lifespan, leveraging epidemiological methods and Markov-based simulations.
Recent Projects: HEAL Oral Health initiative; NIHR Global Health Research Group on Oral Health; studies on refugee well-being in Australia and Singapore’s oral health systems. Collaborations span institutions in India, Indonesia, Singapore, the UK, and the US, focusing on tobacco epidemiology, oral cancer, and health disparities.
