Ankit Patras

Ankit Patras serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences within the College of Agriculture at Tennessee State University. He has been a faculty member since Spring 2014, maintaining his office in the 206 Agricultural Biotechnology Building with contact details publicly listed.

His research expertise centers on developing optical-based technologies for food applications, bioassay testing, and fluid optics, alongside pioneering work in non-thermal food processing using ozone, ultrasonics, and high hydrostatic pressure.
