Prof. Dr. Anke Weidlich is a faculty member at the University of Freiburg, holding the Chair for Control and Integration of Grids at INATECH. She is actively involved in energy systems research, focusing on smart grids, electricity markets, and sustainability. Her roles include Dean of Study for Sustainable Systems Engineering and Academic Director of the M.Sc. Solar Energy Engineering program. She has held previous professorships at the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg and SAP AG, and conducted research at institutions such as the University of Karlsruhe and Iowa State University.
