Anke Piepenbrink

Anke Piepenbrink is Associate Professor and former Head of Strategy & Innovation at Rennes School of Business. She holds a PhD in Management from Rutgers Business School, Executive MBA from Rutgers, and PhD in Astronomy from Max-Planck-Institut.

Her research examines:

• Innovation networks and technological evolution
• Bibliometric analysis of research fields
• AI applications in management
• International business collaborations

Piepenbrink has published in leading journals including Journal of International Business Studies and Technological Forecasting and Social Change. Her corporate background includes management positions in telecommunications R&D and business development, including a China expatriate assignment.

Honors include Dissertation Research Award (2011) and Best Reviewer Award from Academy of Management (2010).
