Prof. Anke Huckauf heads the Department of General Psychology at the University of Ulm. She holds a doctoral degree (summa cum laude) from RWTH Aachen University and a habilitation from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Her research focuses on perception, attention, gaze behavior, and media interaction from a cognitive psychology perspective. She explores topics like visual perception in peripheral fields, spatial cognition, and the role of eye movements in social interactions.
Education: Studied psychology at Universities of Mainz and Aachen (PhD 1996). Junior professorship at Bauhaus University Weimar (2003–2009) before moving to Ulm. Recognized with the Mileva Einstein-Marić Prize in 2013 and 2014.
