Anja Simonsen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Anthropology, University of Copenhagen, specializing in Somali migrant and refugee experiences across East Africa and Europe. Her research intersects with migration, social invisibility, biometric technologies, and Mediterranean migrant deaths.
