Anja Mølle Lindelof is an Associate Professor at Roskilde University's Department of Communication and Arts, affiliated with the Centre for Digital Citizenship. Her research bridges performance studies, media analysis, and cultural policy, focusing on audience experiences, liveness, and institutional change. She holds a PhD from the University of Copenhagen and an MA from Aarhus University, with a dissertation on music on Danish television. She has held visiting scholar positions at the University of Stirling (hosted by Prof. Simon Frith) and Massey University (hosted by Prof. Dorita Hannah).
Her work emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration with cultural institutions, particularly regarding audience development and policy-making. Key research areas include Danish Broadcasting Corporation's music history, cultural value frameworks, and experimental performance design. She teaches courses in performance studies, design methods, and aesthetic theory, prioritizing experiential and performative pedagogy.
