Anja Huth

Anja Huth is a Researcher at the Department of Greek Philology, Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, where she has served as a Research Assistant since October 2014. She earned her First State Examination in French, Greek, and Latin for teaching with distinction in 2014 after studying at the same university from 2007 to 2014.

Her research spans judicial systems and forensic rhetoric in classical antiquity, the evolution of rhetoric schools in Hellenistic and Imperial times, and the philosophical reception of nomos-physis conceptions. She also investigates how ancient motifs are reinterpreted in modern French and German literature and art.

At Martin Luther University, Huth coordinates efforts to promote the Greek subject, supervises student interns, and collaborates with high schools. She participates in the Certamen Franckianum selection rounds and contributes to trial study programs for Greek.
