Anja Frei is a Senior Researcher at the Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute (EBPI) of the University of Zurich. She holds a PhD in Psychology (specializing in social and health psychology) from the University of Zurich and an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. Her research focuses on
- Chronic disease epidemiology (particularly COPD)
- Physical activity promotion and measurement
- Digital health interventions
- Health behavior change
- Aging populations
She leads the WHO Collaborating Centre for Physical Activity and Health at EBPI and contributes to policy development through HEPA Europe and COST action networks. Her work includes
