Anita Trisiah

Anita Trisiah holds dual academic positions as a PhD candidate at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Department of Multi-Actor Systems, Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, and as a permanent lecturer at State Islamic University Raden Fatah Palembang, Indonesia.

Her educational qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree from Sriwijaya University
• Master's degree in Managerial Communication from University Utara Malaysia

Her doctoral research, funded by an Indonesian government scholarship (MORA), investigates framing effects on local acceptance of geothermal energy in Indonesia. With Indonesia possessing 40% of global geothermal resources but having developed only 4.2%, her work analyzes how stakeholders frame geothermal energy, the resulting impact on public perception and local acceptance, and the dynamics of framing and reframing processes. This research bridges energy policy, communication studies, and stakeholder engagement.

At State Islamic University Raden Fatah Palembang, where she has served as a permanent lecturer since 2011, she teaches communication and related subjects and was appointed Head of Study Program in 2016. Her research is supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs scholarship, reflecting national priorities in sustainable energy development.
