Anita Sundnes

Anita Sundnes er Research Fellow at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo, since 2008. Her work focuses on cultural psychology, child development, and multicultural societies, with a PhD project on infant care practices in Norway.

• Education: Master’s in Education (University of Oslo, 2003)

Her research integrates qualitative methods to analyze parenting practices, infant sleep regulation, and toilet training. Publications span topics like family therapy discourses, social synchronization, and preschool education in multicultural contexts.

She teaches courses in qualitative methodology and developmental psychology, including PSY 2013 and PSY 1200. Collaborations include projects with Oslo University College and NOVA, supervised by Agnes Andenæs.
